Kamala Beach

If you hate crowded places and you came to Phuket for a quiet, extended tropical vacation, the Kamala Beach is ideal for you. This is a lovely beach but fortunately for solace lovers, this is often deserted. This is certainly a lot more relaxing than Patong and is a great choice for a lovely beach wedding or honeymoon. Those who visit here often are retirees who want to avoid the noise of the city.

Patong Beach

This is Phuket’s party den and if you came to the island for some exhilarating fun and non-stop partying, then this beach is a recommended destination. The best of Phuket nightlife can be found here as well as the island’s finest bars and trendiest restaurants.

Kata Beach

This posh palm lined beach is well loved because it has something for everyone. Here you can find really good beachfront accommodations and family friendly establishments. In fact, those who are with their whole household while on vacation often choose this beach over other beaches on the island. Surfing enthusiasts also come here often as the waves are really good.

Mai Khao Beach

One of Phuket’s least developed beaches, this is where you can see nature at its finest. The beach is serene in its pure beauty. Its sand is known to be the coarsest sand in Phuket. Like Kamala Beach, this is a not so crowded beach so if you are seeking for some peace and quiet, come here.

Surin Beach

If your kind of fun is at the beach with your family while enjoying well cooked seafood, this place is your paradise. Laidback and luxurious, this is a fave spot of many popular celebrities and is famous for its roster of luxury resorts.

Bangtao Beach

In this part of the island, the traditional way of living is still pretty evident among the locals. Most people here derive their income from fishing and farming. While this is so, the beach of Bangtao is a seat of luxurious establishments.
