On the upper floor of Villa - A1 Phala two levels, a private pool and shaded Jacuzzi provide plenty of opportunity to relax and take in the views, while just inside is an open-plan, very comfortably furnished living area, dining space and kitchen all under a Thai Lanna-style roof with a skylight along its peak. Rich, colorful Thai and contemporary art pieces add spice to the solid wood architectural features, and extensive use of teak and other natural materials enhance the villa's understated luxury.

Connected indoor-outdoor areas make this villa ideal for entertaining. Folding glass doors open the living and dining space up completely to enjoy the tropical climate but there is air-conditioning too, should the afternoon heat prove too much. Three comfortable bedrooms, sleeping up to six guests, lie downstairs, including two large sea-view master suites with romantic double Jacuzzi tubs and balconies. The third bedroom with a king-sized bed has a private bathroom.
