Villa Wang Nam Jai’s sense of tranquillity extends into every corner of the villa, both inside and out, from the Buddhist and Hindu paintings, statues and wall frescoes to the koi pond and the sounds of birdsong and ocean waves.  On the terrace, the eye is drawn to an intriguing life-sized bronze statue of a ballet dancer in an energetic pose.  Created by the Monaco-based sculptor Kees Verkade, it’s a dazzling image of strength and balance against the vivid backdrop of sea and sky.
