Stop by the Plai Laem Temple
This famous temple is situated on the northeast coast of the island. The highlight of this attraction is a giant 18-arm statue of the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. This temple highlights Chinese influence in terms of religion. Appropriate clothing should be worn during visits. Revealing clothing and too casual outfits are not allowed. 

Enjoy nature at the Anthong National Marine Park.
Nature lovers should visit Anthong National Marine Park while in Koh Samui. This park is made up of more than 40 islands and is famous for its natural beauty and fascinating ecosystem. This marine park has plenty to offer its visitors such as caves, lagoons, and highly diverse marine life. Colorful coral gardens are some of its best offerings. If you are interested in great local finds but you don’t want to spend a lot of money, a good place to visit is the Fisherman Village. Here you can buy a number of beautifully made local crafts and find some interesting items such as silk bags and handmade footwear. The Fisherman Village in Bophut is also a nice place to feast on fresh seafood.  Open all year round, this is a good family attraction to try.
